| We will be shooting some scenes in February from the script entitled "The Matter With Them" (from Tim's feature screenplay of the same name which had been optioned at Tristar for a moment years ago). The plan is to create a three-part pilot to walk around Hollywood or launch from the Jeffrey Porch site as a regular series. A script sample can be found in the WRITTEN/Screenplays section of the site. The Jeffrey Porch musical, PARKING AT BELL CREEK, by Tim and featuring the remarkable compositions of Craig Furkas, will be ready in February for talks with theaters for production in the next year. Next will be the recording with orchestra and singers of three songs from the show to use as an introductory CD during talks. The "Detroit Project" - a documentary history of Detroit neighborhhods and residents, is under way and continues throughout 2008. In December, The Jeffrey Porch shot and co-produced skit comedy by Second City alum Jeff Fritz. Jeff intends to add more later. Footage is presently in edit and will appear in the vISUAL section of this site soon. We are also in development on the next film, based on the film script, RISE IN PEACE, which was previously optioned in Hollywood, the synopsis for which is found in the WRITTEN/Screenplays section of this site. At present, we are speaking to the Virginia Film Commission and residents of the area in southern Virginia to explore shooting options, some of which have already been secured, and we continue speaking with producers about future meetings with principles we consider key for roles and acquisition of funding, ultimately. |
